Adam M. Barza
Adam M. Barza is a partner in our Litigation group in Montréal. Mr. Barza has developed extensive experience in the areas of civil, commercial, real estate and professional liability litigation.
He provides strategic advice and representation to real estate owners, lenders, developers and managers, co-ownership syndicates, members of professional orders and corporations operating in numerous industries.
In the course of his practice, Mr. Barza is regularly called upon by his clients to provide legal opinions, to negotiate and draft a wide array of agreements, to prepare judicial proceedings and to advocate before courts and administrative tribunals in Quebec, the whole in English and French.
Mr. Barza acts as the formal supervisor and liaison to the Barreau du Québec for articling students at De Grandpré Chait, ensuring their integration and professional development. He was also a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law of McGill University on the subject of “Litigation and the Commercial Lease”.
He practised for 10 years in the Litigation group of a prominent national law firm prior to joining De Grandpré Chait in 2015.
