Renowned for his litigation skills, François Beauchamp has developed an extensive expertise in construction law, including the related fields of construction bonds, construction claims, civil liability, and insurance law. He acts mainly for general contractors, surety companies, and financial institutions.

Mr. Beauchamp regularly represents clients before the courts and arbitration panels. He provides comprehensive advice and guidance to his clients concerning the management of their business as well as the problems they may encounter. In addition, Mr. Beauchamp co-chairs the firm's Construction and bonding sector. He has also been also the President of the Construction Section of the Canadian Bar Association (Québec Division), and he is still sitting on the Board of Directors, a position he has held for many years.

Co-author of La nature et l'étendue du contrat d'entreprise ou de service, published since 1995 in Contrats, sûretés et publicité des droits, Collection de droit, École du Barreau du Québec, Mr. Beauchamp has often been invited to speak on the topics of insurance and construction by various organizations such as Université Laval, Insight, The Canadian Institute, the Association des Maîtres Couvreurs du Québec, the Canadian Bar Association, the Québec Bar Congress, INFONEX, and l'Association des avocats et avocates de province. Year after year, his skills as a litigator in the areas of construction and insurance are acknowledged in various legal directories.
